RISCS is expanding its interdisciplinary research community to develop further collaboration between the social sciences and cyber security professions. This process is being complemented by the development of a new research agenda centred on Economics and Incentives in cyber security. This research agenda provides an important lens through which to gain significant insights into the state of the market and the field of cyber security. It has the potential to unlock the transformative value of research, and to enhance our understanding of how to better promote security behaviours through the use of effective interventions and levers.
The successful projects will form part of the RISCS community, sharing its research support and joining in community events. Funding will be available for up to 5 projects over the duration of up to 12 months, with final completion dates by 31 March 2021 at the latest. Each application can be for a maximum of £60,000. We particularly welcome proposals with collaborative, multi-disciplinary approaches that employ appropriate and justified methodologies and are co-developed with relevant industry or policy partners.
